Relevant experience:
“I have over 30 years experience as a small business owner and over 15 years as an employee. I have lived and worked in large, metropolitan communities as well as medium and small towns. I have dealt with people from all walks of life, both professionally as well as personally, and have dealt with a wide variety of business and social situations. I have worked for several years with local political organizations, and have long supported causes and candidates that pledged to support the rights and freedoms of American voters. I know what it is like to have to struggle to keep a business afloat and I know what it is like to try to keep a family together through tough economic times. I am experienced enough now to know that many of the serious problems that voters now face are not of their own making — that these problems are the result of forces currently beyond their control. I am experienced enough to know that the problems voters now face are not going to be solved until voters have true representation — at the state and national levels. And I am experienced enough to know how to change the political process so that I, and anyone so inclined, can become a true voter representative.”
How is voting for me or other MajorityVoteRules.org candidates not wasting a vote?
“Voting for me and other MajorityVoteRules.org candidates will not only help give you a voice in Columbus and Washington, it will help us build a strong and permanent voter organization that will soon give all Americans a powerful voice in our government. As far as wasting your vote, just remember this: only MajorityVoteRules.org candidates pledge to represent the majority of their constituents 100% of the time. So if you’re not going to get 100% representation with your vote, you’re wasting your vote.”
Will I pledge to vote for the majority of my constituents in all cases and on all issues?
Yes
Will I pledge to sign an undated letter of resignation that can be enforced should the majority of my constituents find that I have willfully voted against the majority?
Yes
Dr. Bob Ross’ Comprehensive, Sustainable Development Plan for the 16th District
If I were elected Congressman from the Ohio 16th District, my first action would be to organize a task-force of leaders and private citizens from the 16th District whose task it would be to develop a comprehensive, sustainable development plan for the 16th District. This plan would also include the organizing of an oversight body that would have the responsibility for the development, maintenance, and revisions of the plan. Included in this body’s membership would be our local, state, and federal representatives. This would establish for the first time more direct integration of our elected officials into the direct, day-to-day development of the various entities in the District as a whole and allow greater co-ordination in utilizing the resources available to us through the various branches of government.
